Reservation Deposit: To secure your rental, an Advance Rental Deposit of $300 for reservations of 1 week, $400 for reservations for more than 1 week but less than 30 days and $500 for reservations 30 days or more must be received within 7 days or the property is removed from a 'HOLD" classification.
Guest Services & Renter Information
Confirmation: A Confirmation Statement is mailed within 24 hours of the Advanced Rental Deposit being received. This statement will have the Date the Reservation was Made, the Arrival Date, the Name of the Reservationist, the Departure Date, Type of Unit reserved, the rental rate and a confirmation of the Advanced Rental Deposit. Additional instructions about the rental and the availability of travel insurance will be included.
Taxes and Fees: All rental rates are subject to state and local taxes totaling 12%. This is charged to the guest. An Administrative/Departure Fee of $125.00 charged to all reservations. Cleaning Fees are $90 for One Bedroom, $110 for Two Bedrooms, $120 for Three Bedrooms.
Travel Insurance: Optional travel insurance is automatically added to all reservations. It is available from Travel Guard through Sun Vista Reservations. A pamphlet offering coverage details will be included with your confirmation statement. A plan cost of 5% of the total rent and tax and the payment must be forwarded with the Advance Rent Payment. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR HURRICANE MANDATORY EVACUATION WITHOUT THE PURCHASE OF TRAVEL INSURANCE. Additional coverage is available for: trip cancellations and interruption, travel delays, baggage delays, medical expenses while traveling and emergency medical transportation. Don't let cancellations, interruptions, or delays ruin your vacation. Sun Vista Reservations offers optional vacation insurance on all reservations. This insurance covers unforeseen circumstances such as weather, illness or injury, and much more. This optional fee will appear on your confirmation once you've made the initial deposit on your accommodations. However, should you wish to decline the insurance, simply deduct the cost of the premium from your final payment.
For those of you who will be vacationing in Florida between May and November, please note that this is hurricane season. Therefore, we recommend that you seriously consider purchasing trip insurance... in the unlikely event of a hurricane, you'll be glad you did. And remember, owners are not required to refund rent in the event of a voluntary or mandatory hurricane evacuation. Insurance is underwritten by National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburg, Pa., a Pennsylvania Insurance Company (NAIC #19445) and a subsidiary of American International Group, Inc., with its principal place of business at 70 Pine St., New York, NY 10270, currently authorized to transact business in all states and the District of Columbia. The Policy will contain reductions, limitations, exclusions and termination provisions. All coverages may not be avialble in all states.
Final Payment: Balance of rent is due 30 days prior to check-in. Payment can be made by Credit Card (MasterCard, Visa, and Discover only), Cash, Traveler's Checks Certified or Personal Checks. Final payment for reservations made less than 30 days prior to check-in cannot be made by personal check.
Security Deposit: All guests are required to pay a Security Damage Protector Fee of $45.
Cancellations & Refunds: The Advance Rental Deposit is non-refundable for any cancellation received less than 90 days before the arrival date. There is a $150.00 charge for cancellations made 90 days or more from the arrival date. No refunds are given if the reservation is cancelled less than 30 days prior to the arrival date.
Late Arrivals: Late arrivals pick-up center is located in the front of our offices. Specific instructions will be given regarding an authorization code. This code will permit the guest access to their check-in packet which contains keys and further instructions.
Check-in Time and Place: After 3:00pm of the arrival date at the Reservation Center.
Checkout Time and Place: Before 10:00am of the departure date. Keys must be dropped off a the Reservations Center.
Accommodations: Specific accommodations will be assigned to the guest's reservations. But due to unexpected circumstances if designated accommodations are not available, Sun Vista Reservations reserves the right to assign a comparable property. No specific accommodations are guaranteed.
Housekeeping: Housekeeping is provided following your departure and the cost is included in the room rental. Optional housekeeping services can be arranged during your stay for an additional fee.
Restrictions: Absolutely no pets allowed. Guests exceeding the number noted on the confirmation, unruly behavior, property damage or serious violations of condoMinimum rules and regulations will result in the occupants being instructed to leave without a refund.
